Week 5th – 11th January 2025
1. Sunday 5th January is the Feast of the Epiphany.
2. To mark the Epiphany on Sunday 5th January, Mass will be celebrated at the Santa
Marija Maddalena Chapel at 7.30pm by the Parish Priest, Fr Brian Gialanze’. This
will be followed by a recital of Christmas Songs by the EnKor Choir. Mulled wine and
panettone will be served.
3. Sunday 5th January is the first Sunday of the month. Adoration will be held in the
Adoration Chapel at 3.00 pm.
4. This weekend’s special collection is for the parish expenses. Your generosity is much
appreciated.
5. The collection of all the masses on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day for id- Dar tal-
Providenza, together with the donations in the boxes, amounted to €8,000, which was
presented to id-Dar tal-Providenza by the Parish Priest. Thank you all for your generous
donations.
6. The January Parish outing is on Thursday 16th January, leaving at 8.30am for breakfast at the Bella Vista Hotel, Qawra.
7. “My Daily Gospel”, which contains all the gospels for Masses throughout 2025, together
with reflections on the readings, is available from the parish bookshop at €3.
8. All food donated during the festive period was passed on to those families in need and
Pope John XXIII Peace Laboratory Hal Far. If anyone has any hampers which will not be
comsumed can pass them on the parish and distributed to those families in need.
9. The Crochet club resumes on Wednesday 8th January at 9.30am
