Church Consecration
A Historic Moment for Our Parish:Church Consecration by Archbishop Scicluna.
Saturday, 1st March will be a special and historic day for our parish as we gather for a deeply significant event. During the 6:30 PM Mass, His Grace Archbishop Mons. Charles Scicluna will officially consecrate our church, marking a sacred milestone in our faith community.
Preparing Our Hearts & Minds
To help us fully understand and appreciate the meaning of this consecration, we invite all parishioners to attend a series of three preparatory meetings in the church. These will be held on:
- Wednesday 26th February – What does Consecration mean?
- Thursday 27th February – The Consecration of the Temple in Scripture
- Friday 28th February – The Meaning of the Symbols and Rites of Consecration
Each session will take place after the 6:30 PM Mass and will provide valuable insights into the spiritual, historical, and liturgical significance of this sacred act.
We encourage everyone to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime event as we come together in faith, prayer, and reflection, preparing to witness the dedication of our church to God’s glory.
All are welcome to join in this journey of faith and celebration!
